Anand Engineering College, also known as AEC, Agra, is an engineering college in Agra, India. It is situated at the 18 km milestone on the Agra-Delhi highway (NH-02), spread across 30 acres (120,000 m2) at a scenic location overlooking Keetham Lake, one of the greenest areas around the city of Agra. The college, housed in its own building with 500,000 sq ft (50,000 m2) of covered area, was founded in 1998, and the first students graduated in 2002.

It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Sports and cultural activities

The first Inter College Tournament 2005, Zone-3 was organized at the college. The Zone-3 Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow consists of 38 colleges of Engineering and Management Agra, Mathura, Aligarh and G. B. Nagar (Noida) Districts. This type of tournament was organized for the first time in the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

The eight events in the tournament were football and volleyball (boys), table tennis (boys), basketball (girls), volleyball (girls), table tennis (girls) and Kho-kho (girls). The number of participants was 353 from the different colleges.

The overall championship was won by the college, and Hindustan College of Science and Technology was the runner up.

Extracurricular

Students participate in indoor and outdoor activities. A full-time sports officer trains students in the sports of their choice. Students engage in debates, quizzes, dance and drama, music, drawing and painting. Outdoor games available include cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball. Indoor games include table tennis, carom, chess, and badminton. The college has a gymnasium.

The college band has given performances in IIT, Delhi, CEREBRUM-2003 and CEREBRUM-2004.
